I loved how each session came down to me realizing that I am enough. It was a journey towards self-discovery each time I am presented with difficulties. The inner game has improved my mental game and I learned a lot of techniques I've never known before. My favourite technique was when to use the "STOP" tool. I realized when I used that technique I become more focused and enthusiastic with any task ahead of me.

I also got a lot out of the group activities. I never thought we all actually do have a lot in common both at work and in our personal lives. I learned a lot from Andy and Rob, and I'm glad I was able to receive coaching from them.

The course relied on individuals being open and willing to lay themselves bare to the group in order to gain the best from the sessions. All in all it was an excellent training and experience.

Before the programme, I had this mind-set that a job  is a means to an end and not necessarily to be enjoyed. Since attending the Inner game workshop, the programme has made me realise how important it is to enjoy work, how enjoying work also propels performance. It also provided insight to the inner voices ( Self 1& Self 2)  , external factors that prevents us to reaching and maximising our potentials and also provides easy tools  (STOP) to help us fulfil our potentials whist  simultaneously enjoying the process. Plus I love the light hearted style in which both Andy and Rob delivered the programme.  I have started to apply the tools in my personal life and can say I am achieving better results as a MOTHER & NEW BRIDEZILLA!

I would highly recommend this to other members of the Finance  Team.

The inner game was a great opportunity for self-reflection and self-awareness.  The sessions were the perfect pace to enable us to learn the tools and share our experiences.  As a group we were very open and honest with each other which was really important to take the most from it.  Rob and Andy were very relaxed, encouraging and patient, made us feel comfortable to share stories and ask questions, and always happy to talk us through anything we found more difficult to grasp.  I have been making a conscious effort to use the STOP tool and control the voices of my Self 1 and Self 2, as well as supporting other people to make decisions rather than making them for them!  I feel very grateful to have had this experience and will be using all of the tools learnt in my work and home life.

Thanks to Rachael, Andy, Rob and the whole group, I thoroughly enjoyed the journey we went through together.

The Inner Game gave me with an opportunity to take a step back and look at myself in a non-judgemental way. I gained a better understanding of the little voices in my head (my self 1 and 2) and how to cope with them. Since the course I have started consciously practising to be more self-aware, particularly when I am faced with a challenging situation. Learning about the STOP tool has been very invaluable so far. Most of all I like that the various techniques/tools that we came away with, are lifelong skills that can be used not only at work but home with family and friends – in any setting really.

Attending the course as a small group worked well - it provided a safe space to openly share experiences, discuss and learn from each other.

Thanks again for giving me this opportunity.

I enjoyed every moment of the training thoroughly. The sessions have allowed me to understand the difference behind mind-set and coaching.  My biggest learning has been that coaching techniques can be used effectively at pace and need not take too much time. However the course relied on individual being open and willing lay themselves bare to the group in order to gain the best from it. The course was delivered in bite size, enthusiastically and in a supportive way. I now feel confident to go forward and put these skills into practice. No doubt this has definitely change my management style for the better”.

Through the inner game coaching sessions I was able to learn a lot more about myself, which was facilitated by Rob and Andy’s gentle but enquiring questions of the group. The openness of the group and willingness to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences allowed me to think more about myself, and allowed me to be more comfortable in sharing my thoughts.

I enjoyed exploring the use of the Self 1 and Self 2 voices. The realisation that others also experience the Self 1 voice, but that it’s okay was a revelation, and through the use of the STOP tool (which we also explored) can be managed. I am consciously using the STOP tool to assess situations and to make decisions using the Self 2 voice rather than the Self 1 voice. I also enjoyed working through the PLE (Performance/Learning/Enjoyment) formula as being the three fundamentals of work, plus the performance formula and how each of these affect me. Looking at how we see others (problem, needs help, decision maker) was also an eye-opener, especially with my natural tendency to automatically help people!

I really enjoyed and looked forward to these sessions and was grateful for the opportunity to learn “non-technical” skills that help me both inside and outside of work. The sessions were organised in manageable chunks and the small group, along with Rob and Andy’s leadership allowed us to quickly become comfortable with each other and being able to learn and engage with each other. Thank you to Rachael, Rob, Andy and the rest of the team for an enjoyable learning experience.
